Often, those scenes are sexualized. Frequently, the bare body parts belong to women. Overwhelmingly, audiences accept flashes of breast or bottom without much protest.
Nudity in film is the presentation in a film of at least one person who is nude , partially nude or wearing less clothing than contemporary norms in some societies consider " modest ". Since the development of the medium, inclusion in films of any form of sexuality has been controversial, and in the case of most nude scenes has had to be justified as being part of the story, in the concept of "artistically justifiable nudity". In some cases nudity is itself the object of a film or is used in the development of the character of the subject. In some cases, nudity has been criticized as "superfluous" or "gratuitous" to the plot, and some film producers have been accused of including nudity in a film to appeal to certain audiences. Many actors and actresses have appeared nude, or exposing parts of their bodies or dressed in ways considered provocative by contemporary standards at some point in their careers. Nudity in film should be distinguished from sex in film.
It’s a more complicated subject than you might think
Nudity really needs to come to an end in movies, and the sexiness and half naked women on tv also needs to stop. It's sickening to think about what this world is coming to. I think there is enough sin in this world and almost everyone could use a little more cleanliness and godly things in our lives. More importantly, young female adults and grown women are becoming depressed and feeling unworthy compared to what is thrown in our face in almost every movie and tv show. My cousin actually tryed to commit suicide from not feeling pretty enough from seeing all the hot, shapely naked women in movies and their are many more feeling just like she does over this crap. I think that movies directors should stop and think what if it were their daughter feeling this way and attempting suicide over feeling worthless and ugly, then maybe they would put an end to it. Also why is it always women, women like to see men just as much as men like to see women.
