The Friendliest Club on the Lake. Whitby Yacht Club set a course in to build an active and comprehensive yachting facility for members of all ages. Today the WYC holds true to that course. We have established a premier social and recreational club where members and their families enjoy a distinctive environment. The Whitby Yacht Club offers a varied calendar of exciting events in an atmosphere of good fellowship… we have something for everyone from bridge and book clubs, to dinner and dancing, to yacht racing, to marine education and cruising.

WYC offers sailing in sheltered waters at all times of the tide for catamarans, dinghies, and windsurfers with yachts in nearby creeks which dry out. Bit of luck, bit of skill, bit of a laugh, bit of wine!! Or bring your own game. Players and non-players are welcomed, come along and support the Whitstable Yacht Club team. Under the guise of elite actor training , behavioral modification techniques have been locked away behind years of industry experience or expensive classes promising improbable commercial success. The human mind is inherently creative, and in behavior offers a canvas on which artistry can be expressed every day and in every situation. To qualify for advanced classes, you must complete all six basic academy classes first. Different topics each quarter: monologues, scene study, devising work, etc. WYC Acting.
If you love sailing, boating, fishing, water skiing, wake boarding, kite surfing, swimming, braaiing, camping and socialising, then look no further because WYC has all this to offer. Weekend campers or day visitors are welcome to make use of our clubs facilities for all water related activities at minimal rates. During the summer seasons there is a rescue team on duty as safety is of utmost importance to us. From time to time there are cabins for sale to Club Members. The club has been host to many members with a love for watersports and sailing since , when it was officially opened to its founders. Over the years there have been many changes to the club, the Brandvlei Dam was joined to the Kwaggaskloof dam to form the Greater Brandvlei dam, but one thing has never changes. Visitors to the club still enjoy braaing, watersports and great company.
